Early life and education
Simi Dere was born on June 25 (year unknown) and grew up in the UK to Nigerian parents. Her father is from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
She is a British and Nigerian citizen of Yoruba descent. She grew up in the UK with her siblings, but her father lived in Nigeria throughout her childhood.

Later, while attending NYSC, Simi Drey got a full-time job offer with CoolTV as a host. She is currently working as a host at Beat FM, hosting a talk show called Saturday Afternoon Show and another talk show called Sunday Afternoon Show.
After that, she started her career as a model and actress; she would attend modeling and acting auditions. Her talent and skills earned her several jobs in the industry. She has hosted many local and international events including the MTVema Awards and the BetKingNigeria brand unveiling.
Additionally, Simi Del Rey has starred in several top movies and TV series including The Governor, Tinsel, Happy Father’s Day, and Another Father’s Day.
