Sonu Sood, born on July 30, 1973 in Moga, Punjab, India, is an Indian actor and humanitarian. He was born to parents Shakti Sood and Saroj Sood and has two siblings, Malvika Sood and Monika Sood.
Sonu Sood studied at Sacred Heart School, Moga, Punjab, and later received his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur. He is of Punjabi descent and believes in Hinduism.

Sood started his acting journey in 1999 with his first two Tamil films, Kallazhagar and Nenjinile.
