Certain choices in recruiting can affect the availability of other characters. The game is like most role playing games. You go from place to place, following the main story and sometimes doing side quests. By gaining experience points from combat, your character becomes better.

Combat takes place in real time, and you control your character directly instead of using menus. You can move your character freely on the battlefield. Other party members are controlled by the game’s artificial intelligence, but you can change their strategies.

There are nine different skill sets you can purchase in the game, and your character can learn them by spending skill points. These skills can improve your statistics, unlock special abilities, or give you an advantage in combat.

Characters can also have “professional” skills, such as cooking or writing. Your entire party can practice “super pro” skills together. These skills allow you to do things like cook, blacksmith, or write books.Everything you do has a purpose, but it may not always work
