His father, Stan Khoza, is the national president of the Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union and his mother is Lindiwe Khoza.

His parents are well-known in South Africa, and his elder brother Abdul Khoza is also a famous South African actor, best known for his role as Qaphela in the Mzansi Magic soap opera Isibaya.
