T-Pain Claps Back at Critics of Mark Zuckerberg’s ‘Get Low’ Remix: ‘You All Just Hate Happiness!’

T-Pain stands by his decision to team up with Mark Zuckerberg, addressing criticism of his remix of Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz’s song “Get Low.”

CEO Meta commissioned the track as a heartfelt anniversary gift for his wife. Now, T-Pain is criticizing people who hate seeing others happy.

In an Instagram video posted to his account on Thursday, November 14, T-Pain responded to criticism of the romantic gesture.

“Some people can’t be happy. I’ve learned not to worry about what you guys are saying,” he said.

His words didn’t end there as he posted a second video to his Instagram.

“Why do you guys hate happiness so much? You both don’t like it when people do healthy things, you don’t like it when people do nice things for your wives,” T-Pain replied.

“When motherfuckers are actually doing something good, in their fucking lives, suddenly, I need to stay away from each other. Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! What the hell are you doing on this? your phone right now, watching T-Pain? How the hell did you just watch all three of these videos? **you said you didn’t have time [for]”, the rapper continued.

Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz’s song “Get Low” went on to become a huge hit, reaching number 2 on the ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 chart in 2003. However, the song has special meaning for Facebook founder and Mr. wife Priscilla Chan because the song was played when the couple met. Now they play it every year on their anniversary.

“The song ‘Get Low’ was playing when I first met Priscilla at a party in college, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary,” Zuckerberg shared on his Instagram account. me.

“This year I worked with @tpain to create our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. The song’s audio is on and is also available on Spotify. Love you,” he added.

In the song’s remix, T-Pain and Zuckerberg removed the bombastic production and instead opted for a more acoustic sound.

Zuckerberg and Chan share three daughters: Maxima, 9, August, 7, and Aurelia, 1.
