Early life
Taaooma was born on February 28, 1999 into a Muslim family. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Apaokagi.
She was born and raised in Nigeria but spent part of her childhood in Namibia.

Career
Taaooma’s comedy career began in 2015. She was encouraged by her boyfriend Abdulaziz Oladimeji to pursue a career in the field.
After learning how to edit videos from her boyfriend, she released her first video, imitating African parents.
In 2016, her comedy skits began to gain traction as more viewers watched them.
She finally gained popularity after one of her comedy skits went viral. She portrayed how African parents behave when dropping their children off at school.
Her skits simulate the way African mothers discipline their children by slapping them.
She won Best Online Comedian at the 2019 Gage Awards.
She also won the Social Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Nigeria 25 Under 25 Awards in 2019.
