‘TAEHYUNG IS BTS TOO’ Trending When HYBE Deletes V’s Fancam, While Others Leave It As It Is

Fans of popular K-pop group BTS have voiced concerns over the actions of HYBE, the group’s management company, after it reportedly deleted fancam videos of V performing “Pied Piper.”

The decision has sparked outrage among fans who believe the company favors certain BTS members. Supporters of V, whose real name is Kim Tae-Hyung, argue that the deletion of his fancam reflects broader concerns about how the company handles its artist management and promotion strategy.

“TAEHYUNG IS BTS TOO”, “HYBE RESPECTS TAEHYUNG” and “HYBE TREATS TAEHYUNG EQUALLY” started trending on X, formerly Twitter.

According to X user @sza_thv, “Look closely, half of Taehyung’s fancam views are being deleted and pay close attention to how Taehyung’s videos are differentiated from the rest of the members. Why is HYBE hosting all of his videos? We shouldn’t stay silent about this. Taehyung fans in Korea should take action.”

It is also emphasized that each member of BTS must be recognized and encouraged fairly, especially when considering their individual skills and role in the group’s achievements.

@bougiekpopnuna wrote, “Deleting Taehyung’s Pied Piper fancam thinking it would reduce his influence……is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.”

The YouTube channel “mumu_tae”, which posted many fancam videos, has also “disappeared”.

@bizzleavenuez wrote, “I’m sorry but only 2 official fancams of Taehyung and all fancams in mumu_tae’s yt channel were deleted due to copyright??? and hybe only deleted 1 out of 7 member’s fancams??”

Fans also felt the “SINGULARITY” singer was disrespected when @Ta3hyungSK suggested, “Can we flood every social media platform with non-stop fancam videos while tagging Hybe? Let’s unite more than ever, STREAM like it’s our job, and enjoy his music on loop until the algorithm bows to us! Go, team—this is a mission!!”

@leatgc also tweeted, “We underestimate the stupidity of this fandom. Taehyung took leave from the army and went to the company to ask to delete his fancam from 7 years ago, so what do you think?? Are you kidding?? Even 5 year olds can’t come up with such stupid theories to defend the company.”

#VPied Piper’s fancam was deleted from “V Channel”. BH complained about copyright issues and just deleted V’s fancam. However, all the 6 members’ fancams with the same song are still up 😏 KIM TAEHYUNG’S IMPACT IS A NIGHTMARE FOR BH & ANTIS🔥

However, according to @MonicaChowdhur6, Big Hit is said to have cited “copyright issues” as the reason for deleting V’s fancam.

But that doesn’t stop many fans from asking why right now.

According to @thvitboysnn, “Copyright complaint after 6 years? And only taehyung’s fancam has copyright? Bongo is trying everything to erase tae’s popularity but don’t worry, he will always be the fancam king and the most popular idol.”

Following the recent fan outcry over BTS’s handling of V, it’s clear to fans that this isn’t an isolated incident but rather a reflection of a constant trend of criticism aimed at HYBE’s management of the popular group.

Fans have previously noticed a disparity in the attention given to different members of the group, which has led to perceptions of favoritism. This disparity is especially noticeable when fans realize that some members, such as V, do not receive as much attention as others in group activities or official materials.
