Taylor Swift sparks debate after ‘Eating Boogers’ during freezing gig in Edinburgh

Swifties sparked a heated debate on social media after a video of Taylor Swift wiping her nose and flicking it on stage went viral.

In Swift’s defense, she had to perform amid freezing weather in Edinburgh, which local weather agencies said had reached lows of 48 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

In videos now going viral on X, formerly Twitter, Swift appears to wipe snot off her dress, flick it elsewhere or even slurp it up at one point.

Many criticized Swift for doing it on stage, some said she should have done it in private or at least taken time between shows to properly clean it up.

One user suggested: “I’ve seen 3 different videos of Taylor wiping or licking her boogers in the last 30 minutes, she needs to bring some tissues when she goes on that stage.”

“This video of Taylor Swift eating her boogers and throwing snot on the stage keeps coming up. Honestly, eating your boogers in private idc but on stage is crazy,” one person declared dad.

“That Taylor Swift video is so gross. How does someone make so much snot? Why are there so many instances? Why not keep a tissue on stage or something? Just hold it like, lick it, ugh,” another person protested.

However, not everyone is disgusted with Swift; some thought it was perfectly human for her to do that, especially in the unexpectedly cold weather.

“you know what? damn y’all are judging taylor swift’s snot video. she’s freezing and she’s probably torturing herself over it. she actually did it first more than 70,000 people. leave her alone.” you need to stop acting like you don’t want to eat it,” one fan posted.

“Taylor Swift is one of the most influential artists of our time because she can dribble down her nose in front of 70,000 people without missing a beat,” another person mused.

The cold bothered Swift during her Edinburgh concerts; At one point, she had to add gloves to her Vivienne Westwood outfit to keep warm. She also had cramps in her hands due to the cold weather.

“Oh my God! My arm is cramping!” Swift said, Page Six reported. “I’m sorry everyone, this has never happened before, but my hands are cold, I’m just going to warm them up. I’m so embarrassed. My hands are like claws!”
