Global superstar Taylor Swift has officially released “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Book,” a catalog of personal notes and behind-the-scenes details from her historic Eras Tour. The highest-grossing tour of all time, earning over $1 billion in revenue, the book gives fans a deeper look at various costume sketches and moments from the crew. movies, all wrapped up in the itinerary of an international tour.
However, when fans picked up their own copy of the book, they began to notice some strange things about the book. Now known as the Error Travel Book, there are reports of numerous grammatical errors, while some copies are riddled with errors.

I know I’m not the only one disappointed with the book Eras Tour, but I haven’t seen anyone else talk about the obvious grammatical errors and clumsy sentences within its pages. I made this video out of peace, love, and a general frustration at how easily many of these problems could be solved with just one more set of editorial eyes. This book has so much potential and with just a little tweaking it could be absolutely spectacular. #erastourbook #errorstour #booktok

In addition to grammatical errors, readers also reported pixelated images, missing pages, and major design errors. “If you’re paying $40 for a book, do you think it wouldn’t have this many errors,” one fan complained on TikTok.
The TikToker also zoomed in on a key typo that read: “this is me trying” instead of “this is me trying,” a lyric from her 2020 album Folk literature. Another obvious typo is that in the song title “gold rush”, there is no space between the two words. Instead there are the words: “goldrush”.
Is the content I’ve seen of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour (which even Swifties call a “guilty travel book”) that bad? Like everything looks so rushed. Pixelated images, TYPOS, entire books are upside down, some books are missing pages 49-66???? Like, this is crazy… pic.twitter.com/zZfnFyntz3

Since many fans spent hard-earned money or woke up at 5 a.m. to secure their copies, they found the lack of attention to detail disappointing. But Target’s exclusive, self-publishing project is still struggling to do well, despite critical feedback. Many Target locations have sold out of physical copies as fans signed themselves up to waitlists to receive their (hopefully repaired) copies.
This isn’t the only reason Swift made headlines this week. Her fan base is causing an uproar as she ranked second on Billboard’s list of Biggest Pop Stars of the 21st Century, losing the number one spot to Beyoncé.
However, Billboard publicly supported their decision, stating: “While Taylor Swift is the biggest pop star of the century by the numbers – from album sales to streaming to tours – our editorial team selected Beyoncé as our #1 Greatest Pop Star of the Century, based on her 25 years of influence, evolution and impact.
