Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Brings in a Surprising Amount of Money Per Show: See Details

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” made history by breaking all-time tour grossing records and surpassing $1 billion in revenue last year, setting a new standard in the music industry.

New details about the tour’s financial success have emerged after Variety reported that the 14-time Grammy winner earned up to $17 million per show, not including profits from reselling tickets at markups.

An unnamed source involved in the production told the paper that a “conservative estimate” of Swift’s average gross per “Eras Tour” concert is $14 million.

In October 2023, Forbes reported that Swift’s estimated personal earnings for each “Eras Tour” show ranged from $10 million to $13 million. This estimate did not include revenue from tickets resold at inflated prices.

According to the Washington Post, Swift makes about 85% of her total revenue from her ongoing tour.

The “Fortnight” hitmaker sets the average ticket price at $230 and the maximum at $499, excluding exclusive VIP packages that cost $899, and she doesn’t profit from scalping.

Making significant strides toward the staggering $2 billion milestone, not including any potential resale value growth, the “Lover” singer has also raked in hundreds of millions of dollars through merchandise sales.

“Her timing was perfect: The pandemic has created a hunger and thirst for live entertainment like nothing else in history, so she couldn’t have picked a better time to come out,” he added.

The concert film “Eras Tour” hit theaters last year and grossed a whopping $180 million in the United States and $261 million globally.

In a busy year that included a 152-date “Eras Tour” and the release of her debut album “The Tortured Poets Department,” Swift’s accomplishments are truly remarkable.

New information reveals that the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker will not be taking a break for long after her tour ends in December.

In fact, Swift, who has an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion, is reportedly actively working on new music for release in 2025. There are also discussions underway for a potential tour in 2026.
