Teen suspect in Taylor Swift terror plot planned suicide attack, had potential bomb-making materials

Two people have been arrested for allegedly planning a terror attack at the now-cancelled Taylor Swift concert in Vienna.

After their arrests, authorities discovered that both suspects had detailed plans for an attack — a specific plan that revolved around the concert.

After their arrest, police also found chemicals and technical equipment. Investigators are still evaluating their findings to determine whether what they found could be used to make a bomb.

In a 2019 Elle op-ed, Swift admitted her “biggest fear” was the bombing.

“My biggest fear. After the Manchester Arena bombing and the Vegas concert shooting, I was absolutely terrified to go on tour this time because I didn’t know how I was going to keep 3 million fans safe for seven months,” Swift said. “My fear of violence has continued into my personal life. I carry military-grade QuikClot bandages, which are for gunshot or stab wounds.”
