Thami ‘Dish’ Kotlolo (born 8 April 1995) is a South African gay man, best known for founding the Feathers Awards show.
This young South African started his career as a child actor and is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of one of South Africa’s leading media and event management companies called Quad Republic.
He is the founder of the Thami Kotlolo Foundation, a non-governmental organization that aims to help gay and lesbian South African youth who are discriminated against by their families and communities. He is a frequent advocate for LGBTIQ.

Early life
Thami ‘Dish’ Kotlolo was born on 8 April 1995. He was born and raised in the Mamelodi region of South Africa.
He developed a defense mechanism from a young age due to his sexual orientation and tended to attack bullies before they could attack him in high school. He discovered he was gay at the age of 15.

In high school, he formed his own dance club and was an active member of his high school’s Art and Drama club. He was raised in a modest household and his parents and immediate family accepted his sexual orientation.
Education
Thami ‘Dish’ Kotlolo began and completed her primary and secondary education in Mamelodi, South Africa.
After graduating from high school, he earned a degree in musical theatre from the Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa.
Career
Thami ‘Dish’ Kotlolo began his career as a child actor. He had several roles as a child actor and appeared in the South African teen drama, Backstage. He was part of the ensemble cast of the critically acclaimed and phenomenal film, Mr. Bones.
He also appeared in several commercials for major South African corporations and businesses such as Coca-Cola and Tastic Rice.
After a successful career as a child actor, he ventured into television and became a TV presenter for YO-Tv. He left this position to pursue a university degree.
After graduating from University, he came back stronger and founded his own events and communications company called Quad Republic. The company became successful and nationally known after a few years. At the age of 23, with the help of South African entertainer, Baby Joe, he created a South African awards show called Feathers Awards.
The awards show currently has Chevrolet as one of its main sponsors. The awards show is censored by the South African government and is a once-a-year event that is widely covered by South African news and entertainment television stations.

Thami ‘Dish’ Kotlolo is currently single and has no children. He is in a relationship with a black South African whose name and details he refuses to reveal. He has not yet revealed his girlfriend, wife or wife lookalike to the public.
