The tenth and final season of the popular American crime thriller TV series “The Blacklist” started filming on February 22, 2022, and premiered on February 26, 2023 on NBC. The season ends on July 13, 2023, with the final two seasons airing episodes.
This season the main cast of James Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Hisham Tawfik and Harry Lennix return, and Anya Banerjee is introduced in a new main role. Notably, this was the only season of the show that did not feature Amir Arison and Laura Thorne as main cast members, although Arison guest-starred. This is also the second and final season without Megan Boone.
The Blacklist Season 10 Finale Explained
Hudson died at the scene while Redd shot Ressler multiple times, but Ressler’s body armor protected him from serious injury. Red rushed Dembe to the hospital and selflessly volunteered to give him a blood transfusion to save his life. Fortunately, Dembe survived the surgery and was uninjured.
However, when authorities arrived, Redd mysteriously disappeared. It was later revealed that Red had a medical condition that prevented him from being a suitable blood donor. Hudson took the opportunity to arrest Dembe, charging him with aiding and abetting a fugitive to assist Red.
Things took a sudden turn when Dembe was transported to headquarters for questioning. Red and his men orchestrate a daring operation in which they crash the vehicle and create a chaotic scene. In the chaos, Hudson shot Dembe in the neck, setting off a chain of events. In response, Redd quickly retaliated, shooting Hudson in the head, ending the tense confrontation.

The Blacklist Season 10 Release Date
On February 22, 2022, the American crime thriller TV series “The Blacklist” officially launched its tenth and final season. The season airs on NBC on February 26, 2023 and is highly anticipated. It marks the final chapter of the series, with the final two episodes concluding the story on July 13, 2023.
The season is produced by Davis Entertainment, Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television. Executive producers John Eisendrath, John Davis, Joe Carnahan and John Fox reprise their roles, with series creator Jon Bokenkamp returning as executive producer .
The Blacklist Season 10 Plot
In New York, an explosion occurs near Alam and he discovers Reddington, who has been missing for six months. Dembe and Ressler investigated the exploding building and discovered that it was a Chinese annex. They found the victim’s notebook, which led them to Pablo Picasso’s sculpture “The Night Owl” that was stored in Montserrat.
The team discovers a black site used by MI6 and meets Meera Malik’s daughter Thea. Wu Jing attacks the building to rescue the freelancers who later become his allies. Reddington revealed that he had planned the explosion and told Dembe about his changed security arrangements.
In another operation, Red and Ressler went undercover at a game to make contact with a whaler linked to Wu Jing. They discovered Wu Jing’s money laundering scheme and foiled it. The task force investigates the Four Guns, a pickpocket organization that targets Cynthia Panabaker. They uncover a conspiracy involving former agent Lucas Ross.
The team also tackled cases involving hidden wealth mysteries, the murder of a judge, and a prison break orchestrated by Wu Jing. Reddington plays a game of cat and mouse with Freelancer and his former partner Rogelio. The task force is responsible for dealing with cybercrime, corruption, smuggling and assassinations orchestrated by Postman, Blair Foster and Wormwood.
Red helps resolve a family feud and exposes corruption within a logistics company. The task force faced investigations by Arthur Hudson and Senator Dove. They also discover a secret room in the Capitol where they track politicians. Hudson continued his mission, causing the task force to be shut down. Red’s plane explodes and he offers Cooper a game of tag.
