Liam Gallagher mocks SNL’s Oasis skit: ‘Are they comedians’ Instagram: @oasis, YouTube: Saturday Night Live

Liam Gallagher has expressed his thoughts on SNL’s skit about Oasis.

On October 13, “Saturday Night Live” posted a parody video of Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher. The video features James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman on the show’s “Weekend Update,” which prominently pokes fun at the estranged brothers’ feud and expressions.

The two were also chatting with host Colin Jost, who asked the “brothers” if they could “tour a year from now.”

Johnson, who plays Noel, agreed, saying, “I’d be fine if he was cool.” Sherman’s Liam replies: “I’m cool, I’m cooler than you.”

Jost jokingly replied to both: “Great, then no.”

After clarifying that it was not an explicit refusal, “Liam” assured that the decision was “possible”. This prompted “Noel” to perform a clapback of Oasis’s “Wonderwall” saying “We said maybe, if Liam didn’t act like a child.”

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Oasis frontman was tagged by a netizen, who asked him if he had seen the SNL skit. Liam firmly replied to the video: “Are they comedians?[?]”

Do they want to be comedians

Besides Liam Gallagher himself, fans also did not give the video positive reviews.

This is the worst episode I have ever seen in my life. Not a single smile. It’s time to retreat or look for new talent
