Thulani Dlomo (born 1 July 1971) is best known as the former South African Ambassador to Japan.

Early life

Thulani Dlomo was born on 1 July 1971 in a small village in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

He studied at the University of South Africa from 2014 to 2017.

He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and International Politics.

He then returned to UNISA to study Political Science and Honours Government.

Career

Thulani Dlomo became active in South African government affairs at the age of 13. He was an ANC member who fought for his opportunity and was also forced to leave.

Thulani Dhlomo was appointed South Africa’s minister to Japan by former president Jacob Zuma in 2017. However, his tenure as ambassador ended in January 2019 when President Cyril Ramaphosa reviewed him after he took office.

Since the review, he has kept quiet, which has led to the nickname Thulani Silence Dlomo. The SSA later decided to fire him because he was unable to return to work.

He is known to be an admirer of Jacob Zuma. During his time as a South African secret agent, investigators blamed him for arranging a private volunteer army to ensure then-President Nelson Mandela was protected.

Furthermore, there are allegations that Thulani Dlomo was one of the geniuses of the country’s fiercest enemy in the Jacob Zuma war, which caused the genocide and terrible death toll. After the previous President Jacob Zuma was arrested, the incident happened.
