Tim Hogarth became fascinated and deeply interested in history and antiques from a very young age. He would attend local Jumble sales and then head to antique fairs and flea markets.
Soon, Tim Hogarth wanted to start his own antiques business. But unfortunately, he had to withdraw his savings from working at a local factory after school to achieve this.
He first started by taking part in market trading before moving on to antiques fairs, which gave him enough money to open his shop in Haworth.
After gaining enough trading experience, Tim Hogarth often went to London to sell antiques at Covent Garden Market located in Portobello Bermondsey. There he became a regular figure selling Art Antiquese to international clients, to important and leading society people such as Princess Margret, Ralph Lauren Valentino, to name just a few.
Tim Hogarth’s business was booming in 2006, and to top it all off, he was invited to become a contributing agent for a start-up television show titled Dickson’s Real Deal (DRD). The show was happily welcomed by viewers of all ages and around the world, making him a celebrity.
Following the successes scored on the show, ITV started a spin-off television show titled Secret Agents featuring real dealing agents. ITV then ditched the presenters and brought in seven of the show’s most famous dealer stars to take on the role of presenters.
Through its new creation, the show achieved significant success in Australia and like Dickson’s Real Deal, it was shown around the world and was even nominated for the Best Daytime Program category at the awards ceremony. Royal TV Award.
In 2015, Tim Hogarth was motivated to write his first book titled The Dazzling Lady Docker. The book tells the biography of a notorious Socialite in the 1950s and a profligate who, to this day, was the first and only person banned from the French city of Monaco.
The book was a bestseller and appeared widely in several publications Inc. Daily Mail and Tatler. The top-rated book is also available on Amazon and sells for $28.
