early life and education
Tetiana Hryhorivna Liberman, better known by her stage name Tina Karol, was born on January 25, 1985 in Orotukan, Magadan Oblast, Soviet Union. She is the daughter of Grigory Lieberman and Svetlana Lieberman.
At the age of six, she moved with her family to Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Carol has an older brother, Stanislav Liberman, who has become a lawyer in Kiev and runs his own law firm.
Tina Karol graduated from the music school and further honed her talents at the Kyiv State Higher Conservatory of Music in Greer, where she studied vocal performance and mastered the piano.
In addition to her musical education, Carol continued her studies at Kyiv State Aviation University, expanding her academic knowledge beyond the arts. Although Tina Carol identifies herself as Ukrainian, her religious affiliation remains unknown.

Tina Karol began her career as a teenager, performing for four years in the dance troupe of the Kiev branch of the Jewish Agency.
