Meet Rob Tomson, Megan Thomson’s Father
Rob Tomson was the loving father of Megan Thomson. He breathed his last on March 27, 2020.
“I miss you so much already and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. I promise to make you proud and strong like you were for all of us,” Megan paid tribute to her dad four days later on her IG. “Thank you for everything and you are truly the best dad ever. You are so amazing and brave, always making us laugh, pranking us.”
A few months after Rob passed away, Megan took to IG to wish him a happy birthday on July 8, writing, “Happy birthday in heaven to my dad. I would give anything to have you back and pamper you on your birthday, or even just buy you a birthday card. Everyone says how proud you would be of me, but honestly, I’m so proud to be yours.”
Likewise, she often featured him on her social media to let the world know how much she missed him. Once, she even wrote the lyrics to Luther Vandross’ “Dance with My Father” on IG along with a photo of him, followed by another photo with the caption, “Grief is the price we pay for love.”
Her last post about him was on March 27, 2023, in which she mentioned that it had been three years since she last heard her father’s voice, but her heart continued to converse with them. She was saddened to think of all the moments they had missed in their lives.
