Lost Words of the East reroll guide
strong start
Youmu Xuanbai Youmu Xuanbai, a gardener ghost girl from the Netherworld, is the most powerful unit in the tutorial volume. Notably, she deals significantly more damage compared to the others and has an exceptionally powerful AoE Last Word. This makes her invaluable for both farming and tackling challenging content. Youmu is your go-to for every stage of the game and comes highly recommended.
Uninspiring, but usable
Reisen Udongein Inaba Reisen Udongein Inaba is mainly good at solo farming against the first boss. However, it’s worth mentioning that other characters, including Youmu, can also perform this mission at higher levels. Raisen’s damage output is relatively low, and she lacks a versatile attack. However, she brings useful accuracy utility and provides access to the lunar element.
Sakuya Izayoi Sakuya Izayoi is a flawed unit, characterized by low damage, limited access to elements, and no significant utility to the team. Her main function is as a selfish damage dealer who can act quickly, but isn’t great in the last sentence since her niche isn’t particularly useful.
Cirno Cirno’s standout feature is her ability to place 2 freeze barriers on all enemies and then use her last words to shatter them. However, this ability has some variability, with the possibility of setting up only 1 barrier 10% of the time. As such, she’s unreliable for farming bosses and is better suited to challenging content designed for one-off battles.
Already got it for free
Kochiya Sanae Marisa Kirisame Hakurei Reimu These units, Sanae Kochiya, Marisa Kirisame and Reimu Hakurei are already available for free. Hakurei Reimu and Kirisame Marisa are rewards for logging in beforehand, while Kochiya Sanae will be obtained after 7 days. While having extra early copies can break the max limit faster, it has limited long-term utility. Even if you like these three characters, it is recommended to re-roll the other characters as they can be easily obtained without re-rolling.
Touhou LostWord Gameplay
Touhou LostWord is an adventure game that can be played on a mobile phone or computer. In this game, you assemble a team of six characters to fight the bad guys. The battle is carried out in stages, and you need to defeat all enemies to enter the new stage. Each character in the team has six important things that make them good at combat: health, speed, and abilities related to yin (like shadow) and yang (like light).
Characters also have special cards with powers, as well as a very powerful special card called “The Last Word.” But if you use the last word, you cannot use the other special cards in that stage.
You can use story cards to make your character more powerful. These cards can make your special abilities better and improve your character. As you play the game, your character can become stronger by going to school or training.
