MANHATTAN: Hip Hop musician and producer Kanye West has been sued in a new lawsuit filed on Friday in which a model alleges she was sexually assaulted.
Jennifer An, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, alleges that West “gagged her” as he “shoved multiple fingers down her throat.” The incident allegedly occurred during filming of the music video for the 2009 remix of “In For The Kill”, a song by La Roux and West. Both Tay and An are absent from the music video.
The lawsuit claims that West chose An when he arrived on set to, as he said, “give me the Asian girl.” He allegedly asked the camera crew to zoom in on An, as the hip hop musician choked her before being subjected to what the suit called an “obscene gag”. The lawsuit claims that An “had difficulty breathing and felt like he was temporarily unconscious”, while no staff intervened to help.

During the alleged attack, An claimed that West declared the incident “art.” “This is fucking art. I’m like Picasso,” the musician is said to have shouted.
An is also suing Universal Music Group for creating unsafe working conditions that allowed gender-based violence to occur.
PREVIOUS LAWSUITS
In October, West was sued by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, in a case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. Pisciotta alleges that her former boss raped her after she was served a fizzy drink at a studio session he hosted with Diddy.
The lawsuit also accuses West of sex trafficking. He allegedly used his relationships with the brands to bring women to the United States to sleep with them, by giving them jobs that qualified them for work visas. The women were allegedly forced to sign non-disclosure agreements. They were also given as “gifts” to his friends.
