Ubi Franklin was born on February 2, 1986 in Cross River State, Nigeria. The 11th of 15 children, he grew up in Cross River and Calabar, where he developed an interest in music.

Career
Ubi Franklin is a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, known as a talent manager and music producer. He has managed successful artists such as AY Makun, Tekno, Selebobo and Iyanya.
He founded Instant Pickup and Instant Apartment in 2017 to offer instant laundry pickup and delivery services as well as luxury apartment rentals, respectively. In 2018, he launched Instant Ryde, an online taxi service operating in four states in Nigeria.
