“Alright” is officially the fourth single from her Grammy Award-winning album Jaguar II. It was introduced as a single almost a year after she released the single “On My Mama” in June 2023.

People on YouTube praised the Kaytranada-produced track, praising how Monét’s amazing performance and choreography skills complemented the song’s sound and production.
In addition to great production, the Dave Meyers-directed music video also pays homage to 2000s icons like Missy Elliott, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, and even the late Michael Jackson.
Monét spoke at length about the song and music video in a statement.

Lauding Meyers and Sean Bankhead’s breathtaking choreography, Monét thanked “EVERYONE” who worked on the video.

We all patiently and meticulously crafted it and are super excited to release it world!” she added. “There is no better month to release this visual than pride month, black music month and the beginning of summer 24! I can’t wait to see where dance artists and dance culture go .”
