A popular dance challenge has appeared on social media, which features Tupac Shakur’s famous song as the background music.
The hit song “How Do U Want It” from 1996, featuring K-Ci and JoJo, made waves on many social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and X.
It has become the soundtrack to a viral dance trend that is spreading online.
As the music plays, social media users show off their dancing skills with two-step moves. Their routine involves swaying and moving their hips, while the lyrics mention “Love the way you activate your hips and push your a** out”.
While many people participated enthusiastically, some were not enthusiastic about this trend.
If Tupac knew you guys were shaking your butt to that song, he’d be so mad πππ

In light of current trends, there are concerns arising from challenges that some individuals find uncomfortable. Although children are joining in on the dance craze, the West Coast MC’s explicit lyrics in the track may not be appropriate for younger audiences.
CHILDREN should not shake their hips at Tupac and say βI like the way you activate your hips and push your butt out. I want it so bad, I want it so bad, I’m about to pass out.β
ARE NOT! And no! Idc about a tik tok dance. It’s so inappropriate.

I’m glad TikTok is gone because that Tupac song is not a rocking dance song.

During his younger years, Tupac pursued the art of dancing. The rap icon, whose life ended after a fatal shooting in 1996, honed his ballet and theater skills during his teenage years.
Additionally, he lent his talents to Digital Underground as a background dancer from the late 1980s to early 1990s.
On the Billboard charts, How Do U Want It stands out as a unique milestone. It made history as the first explicit rap song to reach the top spot, featuring a down-to-earth rap icon who captured his raw authenticity without compromising. half but still dominates the charts.
During the song’s creation, Johnny J used a sample from the soulful 1974 song “Body Heat”, a collaboration between Quincy Jones and Leon Ware.
A few years before joining Tupac, Johnny created a catchy song and chorus melody. In collaborating with the rapper, the latter used Johnny’s rhythms to create a complex seductive story.
