98 Degrees played a show at South Coast Winery in Temecula, California on October 24, and the videos sparked a lot of conversation on TikTok.
The boy band is currently touring with all of its original members — brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre — and videos are circulating on social media of their cover of the iconic hit by Britney Spears, “Oops!… .I did it again.” Another video shows the band performing a cover of Sisqó’s 2000 hit, “Thong Song”.
The reaction really wasn’t very kind, especially when it came to leader Nick.

One comment wrote: “Nick graduated 8 years ago but still returns to football matches in his hometown with a letter-shaped jacket full of vibes.”
“Nick Lachey is a legend in his own mind,” another commenter wrote.
The user was also not a fan of the dance and pointed out how the band had fallen from their heyday.
One comment read: “The choreographer needs to be tarred and feathered.”
“Which county fair is it?” and “55 degrees cool” are also comments that received a significant number of “likes”.

Other comments mentioned Nick’s ex-wife, Jessica Simpson.
“Someone show Jessica 😂,” one comment read.
“I was just thinking about the episode of Newlyweds when Nick played his new Christmas song and Jessica laughed at him 😂,” another commenter wrote.
“I love this for Jessica Simpson,” another commenter wrote.
This isn’t the first time 50-year-old Nick has been mocked for his singing voice. In February, his acoustic cover of Halsey’s hit “Without Me” caused TikTok users to cruelly mock him.
