What Jennifer Lopez Wants to Do Right Now Amid Divorce Rumors with Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez seems to be ignoring the divorce rumors plaguing her and husband Ben Affleck, as she wants to spend more time with her kids.

An insider told People on Monday that the actress and singer is eager to spend time with the actor’s kids — Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 — after returning from a vacation in the Hamptons.

J.Lo is said to care deeply about Affleck’s children despite their troubled marriage, so she prioritized that after the outing.

“Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about his kids. She always cares about them,” the source said.

Right now, Lopez only wants to do one thing, which is to bond Ben’s children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner before the new school year starts.

“[She] wants to spend quality time with them before school reopens,” the insider said, adding that she is especially looking forward to bonding with Violent before she heads off to college. J.Lo is said to be closest to her husband’s eldest child of the three.

Another source previously told Page Six that the “Jenny From the Block” hitmaker was worried that her split from Ben could affect their children.

Since officially tying the knot in 2022, the couple has been raising their blended family on their own. In addition to Affleck’s children, Lopez also has twins from a previous relationship with singer Marc Anthony — Max and Emme, 16.

The Hollywood couple even spent time looking for the perfect home for their blended family last year, purchasing a 38,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills in June 2023 so all five children could live under one roof.

Unfortunately, amid marital turmoil and divorce rumors, Jen and Ben put their shared home on the market for $68 million in July.

The latest J.Lo news comes days after an insider claimed the “Argo” actor “can’t stand” the “Atlas” star’s longtime friend and manager, Benny Medina.

“They can’t stand each other. They don’t get along, and there’s still bad blood,” the source said, after claiming that Medina’s disdain for Affleck dates back to the early 2000s when he and Lopez first started dating.

Interestingly, the source notes that Affleck has always felt similarly about Medina, who has been his biggest critic for years.
