- Head south of the Sacred Tree Outpost on Red Island, an island west of Sainte-Anne and east of the African coast.

- Zoom in on the map to discover copper nodes, represented by small brown rocks. Shiny rocks indicate they are mineable.
Crossing a narrow river:
- Cross the narrow river to reach the copper node on the map.
Crafting a pickaxe:
- Craft a pickaxe in Saint Anne. Visit the carpenter in the center of town and craft it using two torn sails and a broken plank.
Using Pickaxe I:
- All you need is a Pickaxe I to mine copper. There is no need for a stronger pickaxe at this stage.
Start mining:
- Approach the copper node and an interaction option will appear. Start the quick mini-game and click the button in the green area to successfully mine copper.
