Pamela Jo Bondi is an American lawyer, lobbyist and politician. She was the first woman elected to the position of Florida attorney general and is a Republican. Bondi served as one of the defense attorneys for President Donald Trump in his first impeachment trial in 2020.
By 2024, she will be legal director of the Trump-affiliated America First Policy Institute. On November 21, 2024, president-elect Trump announced she would be nominated to be United States Attorney General after previous nominee Matt Gaetz withdrew.
