Allegra Mostyn-Owen, born in 1964 in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland, is the daughter of art historian William Mostyn-Owen and Italian writer Gaia Servadio.
She is the second of three children, with two older brothers, Orlando Mostyn-Owen and Owen Mostyn-Owen. Of mixed Scottish and Italian descent, she attended university in Free University of Bruxelles And Trinity College, Oxford UniversityMaster’s degree in EU Law.
