Bitwit Kyle Hansen Job Update

Kyle Hansen left Bitwit in April 2023. In a video posted to his channel titled “I’m Leaving Bitwit, But Not the Internet,” the YouTuber said he was leaving Bitwit and didn’t know “when or if” he would return.

But fans, don’t be sad because Kyle is working on new projects, including his own podcast called Super Special (which will have its own channel). Additionally, he has promised to return to the channel in June to cover Computex 2023 in Taiwan—which will likely be the last we see of Bitwit.

Furthermore, Kyle will post a “random build video” or “tech project” and will keep you updated on his work via his other Youtube channel @wrkhrs3. As of May 2023, the channel has over 150k subscribers and this number will surely spike after he leaves Bitwit.

As for his new comedy-entertainment podcast, the YouTuber revealed that he’ll be co-hosting Super Special with his friend Ian — where they’ll also share some embarrassing stories from their own lives.

Kyle’s departure from Bitwit finally came two years after he first announced that he was making a big career move (in January 2021). Sadly, at the time, Kyle was forced to return to Bitwit to help him pay his legal fees. Additionally, he was also at risk of losing his home.

Bitwit Kyle Hansen filed for divorce from his wife Heather deCaussin on January 20, 2021. The case was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pasadena Courthouse in Los Angeles, California.

However, the two broke up at the end of 2020. So their marriage only lasted for 5 years.

It is believed that the reason for their divorce was Heather’s infidelity. There were rumors that Heather cheated on Kyle and his editor, Chris Pinto. “I mean that guy never fully recovered, I stopped watching his videos a few months after his girlfriend cheated on him because his videos started getting boring or stale,” one fan wrote.

Some people have even suggested that Kyle stopped making videos on Bitwit because Heather owns half of the business and revenue from the channel, so continuing to make videos would mean he would have to pay her a portion of that revenue.

In addition to the cheating allegations, fans were also angry with Heather for suing Kyle for spousal support and half of the channel’s profits. “His wife slept with his editor and is now suing him for half of the channel’s profits in a divorce,” one user commented.

Outraged, some people also took to Heather’s social media pages to comment on the issue. But Heather politely did not delete or respond to the hateful comments.
