Carlos Uraga is the boyfriend of Nona Soley Bosch. He first appeared on Nona’s social media pages in early 2022. However, it wasn’t until after Top Gun: Maverick was released on May 24 that the two became famous as a couple. On the same day, Carlos also posted a photo of them on IG with the caption, “Top Gun Maverick [email protected] and @paramount_spainfor the event. Movie. and babe,@nonasobo.”
Just a few days earlier, Nona also dedicated an IG post to her new boyfriend — “Today I raise a glass to the hurts of yesterday and the ones I overcame. Carlos Uraga is the CEO and founder of Nantek, a startup developing sustainable solutions for industrial applications. “Turning plastic waste into valuable products and creating high-performance, low-resistance wires are the core activities of this startup,” they explain.
A man on a mission to change the way we use plastic in our daily lives, Carlos has successfully developed a process to convert plastic waste into fuel, petrochemicals and other products. In fact, his company was one of eight startups selected to participate in the first IESE Business Angels Sustainable Investment Forum, where he won the GFT Banco Sabadell Sustainability Award.
Nantek is reportedly seeking €1.9 million in funding to complete its first pilot plant, which it hopes will be operational by early 2022. If all goes according to plan, the company will have 13 reactors, with a capacity to process around 20,000 tonnes of plastic per year.
In addition to his work in plastics, Carlos is also the co-founder of Oxford Language School, a franchised English language academy with over 3,000 students in 9 different locations in northern Spain.
Additionally, he was CEO and co-founder of Acutronic Robotics (October 2016 to October 2018) and Erle Robotics SL (March 2015 to October 2018).
From January 2013 to April 2014, Carlos also worked as a team manager at Success Direct.
