Doreen Chizoba Wigwe (born 12 July 1967 – 9 February 2024) is a Nigerian lawyer, businessman and philanthropist.
She is the founder and CEO of Craneburg Construction LLC, a leading Nigerian building and construction company. Chizoba Wigwe is also famous for being the wife and breadwinner of Herbert Wigwe, Co-Founder and former CEO of Access Bank.

Early life
Doreen Chizoba Wigwe was born into the family of the late Cyprian Chief Chukwuemeka Nwuba and Mrs. Nwuba on July 12, 1967. She is Nigerian by birth as she was born at a leading private hospital in Lagos Mainland, State Lagos.
Her parents are Nigerian. She is an Igbo woman of Achina origin, Anambra State. Chizoba Wigwe’s father, Director Cyprian Chukwuemeka Nwuba, is a Chartered Accountant who served as African Financial Controller for Shell Petroleum Development Company. Director Nwuba later became the General Manager of Finance and Accounting of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. Her mother is a civil servant in the Ministry of Education.
During her childhood, Doreen Chizoba Wigwe and her mother, Mrs. Nwuba, migrated abroad and settled in the United States. She spent her formative years there with her mother. Doreen attended elementary and middle school in the United States. She decided to attend college in the United States before returning to Nigeria.

On February 9, 2024, the world received shocking news of the death of Chizoba Wigwe. She died in a helicopter crash involving her husband Herbert Wigwe, first son Chizi Wigwe and family friend Abimbola Ogunbanjo. The ill-fated accident also claimed the lives of two crew members on the helicopter.
Along with her husband and son, Chizoba Wigwe’s remains were buried on March 9, 2024.
