RuPaul Drag Race judge Ross Matthews and her husband, Dr. Wellinthon Garcia, got married at the Almar Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on May 8, 2022. They decided to exchange their wedding vows at the exact spot where they first met two years ago. Both grooms wore tuxedos by Robbie and Co., according to Everybody.

They got married in front of 110 guests who were there to celebrate their big day. They received gift bags of Mario Badescu skincare products, including toner, facial sunscreen and lip balm.

Ross said Everybody“It was a wedding in another location. So we invited 130 people, thinking maybe 50 would come. But 110 people came — and I was so happy!”

Ross and Wellinthon wrote their own vows. “I wrote my vows on the train into town and I just started crying. It was overwhelming, thinking about all the things I wanted to say to him,” Ross told the outlet.

Guests enjoyed bruschetta, sashimi, fresh fish, beef, salads and plenty of vegan options. Meanwhile, Wellinthon’s wedding cake of choice was red velvet.
