Meet Elizabeth Miller, Noah Thompson’s mother.
The 20-year-old construction worker from Louisa, Kentucky was one of three finalists along with HunterGirl and Leah Marlene. “Honestly, man, I was just a little numb,” he told USA Today.
“It blew my mind,” he continued. “I just didn’t know how to feel. Anyone could win this show, you know what I mean? I just didn’t think it would be me.” Walker, who has a 1-year-old son, had never been on a plane before his audition.
“I was just pushed into this competition by my friend, but I’m so grateful for it,” he told USA Today. “I didn’t expect this. After the Top 3, I was really shocked.” Looking back on his audition, he shared, “I can guarantee you that no one walked into the audition room more nervous than me. My heart was pounding like it was going to jump out of my chest. I couldn’t even look at the judges.”
This glorious victory of the female singer from Kentucky made the whole Kentucky town proud.

American Idol Noah Thompson was born to the late Elizabeth Miller. According to his sister Brittany, his mother was “A rare find, Elizabeth embodied many different things to many different people—mother and daughter, strength and vulnerability, humor and vulnerability, piety and villainy—but she was always beautiful and unfiltered.”
Elizabeth has Noah from her relationship with Chris Thompson. She gave birth to him on April 18, 2002. As of 2022, he is 20 years old.
Before Noah, she was married to Scott Ambrose. She has two daughters with him; Britany Miller Dawson and Alexandria Kyle Ambrose.

Scott died of a blood clot in his lung shortly after turning 32.
Scott is the brother of Dr. Paul Ambrose and was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon during the 9/11 attacks.

According to Noah’s sister Britany Miller, Elizabeth suffered severe brain damage that led to her death. She had multiple complications that led to the difficult decision to take her off life support. She was rushed to the hospital after going into cardiac arrest.
Elizabeth breathed her last surrounded by her daughter Alexandria. Her boyfriend Tony was also by her side holding her right hand.
