When Chelsea introduced Neeraj on Selling Sunset, she revealed that Niraj had recently sold his company for a billion dollars. Neeraj writes in his Instagram bio that he is the former CEO and chairman of Byte, an invisible braces brand.

Describing him further, she said the billionaire has a house in Santa Monica and is looking to buy another house to rent out.

Neeraj was previously CMO and CRO at True Car. He began his finance career in 1997 working as a Summer Analyst at UBS Investment Bank. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Apart from being a successful businessman, Neeraj is also a father of two sons. He has two sons with his ex-wife Raquel Tavares. A divorce was filed between the two in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on December 14, 2018.

Neeraj and Raquel’s children are Devan and Dhilan Gunsagar. Devan celebrates his birthday on February 27 every year. After the divorce, it seems like the kids are living with Neeraj. On June 20, 2022, Neeraj shared about all the fun activities he and the kids had during Father’s Day weekend. He shared that the annual Boston pilgrimage has become quite a tradition for them every Father’s Day. However, things were different in 2022 as they went to a sports buffet in Boston on the occasion.

Talking about Neeraj’s family, his mother and father are Anita and Kamal Gunsagar respectively. The couple would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in March 2023 if not for Kamal’s death.
