Meet Nicholas Meyers, Teddi Wright’s Bachelor Alumni Husband

Teddi Wright, a former cast member of The Bachelor, married Nicholas Meyers in a small ceremony in Napa Valley, California, in front of 97 of their closest family and friends. As she prepared to walk down the aisle, Wright told PEOPLE exclusively that she wanted her closest loved ones to be present at the wedding.

“It was really important to us that our wedding felt intimate, that everyone there was someone who had been important to us on our journey, individually or as a couple,” she explains. “It became a weekend of celebration of our love with our friends and family!”

Teddi and CMG Weddings & Events chose a traditional black and white theme, and used lots of candles and flowers for the decor. The reality star said that although peonies are not currently in season, her florist, Edgar Martinez Ruacho, found her favorite flower and added a little magic to the ceremony.

“I was so hoping to incorporate peonies into my big day,” Teddi shares. “Somehow, my florist worked her magic and I had the most beautiful peony bouquet!” She chose a stunning gown from Grace Loves Lace, aiming for effortless elegance. The “sexy” low back and “timeless and classy” high neckline of the white satin gown were features the Bachelor alum loved.

“I felt so confident and like a bride when I put it on and I knew right away this was my wedding dress!” she shared with PEOPLE magazine.

The beautiful bride insists that their first look was one of the most memorable moments of the big day. Before the customary vows at the altar, Teddi told PEOPLE that she and Nicholas took the opportunity to recite their personal vows to each other.

“We were both so nervous, so it was great to meet him first and remember that these were the best moments!” she shared.

“All of our siblings were at our wedding,” Teddi added. “My brother walked my mom down the aisle. His brother was in the groomsmen’s party. My sister was the maid of honor and walked down the aisle with her husband and two sons as ring bearers – they looked so cute in their little suits!”

Along with her husband and daughter—who were in charge of scattering the flowers—her other sister and her sister-in-law also walked down the aisle. “In tutus and wreaths.”

“It was really special for my siblings to have these roles because it felt like I got to witness the love of the previous generations walking down the aisle before I walked down the aisle with my now-husband,” she added.

The reality star posted a video to her social media with the caption, “First New Year’s kiss!!” The video begins with her sobbing and ends with multiple photos of her and Nicholas, including them kissing, posing for photos, and him putting on makeup. 👶🏽 #2023Happy New Year 🫶 The Bachelor in Paradise alum revealed that she and Nicholas got engaged after just three months.

Teddi shared the happy news in an Instagram video that included a compilation of the couple’s happy moments as well as a glimpse of her diamond ring, which was made by Jean Dousset. “So this is what love is… 🤍💍,” she began the announcement. “I’m engaged and feel incredibly lucky to be with my best friend forever :’) I’ve been crying for days since it happened and it still feels like a dream.”

Teddi also praised her then-fiancé’s choice of ring, writing, “Can we just take a moment to see how well my fiancé (oh my) and @jeandousset did with the ring. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!! 🫶🏽✨💍,” she added. “Now let me get married 💪🏽”
