Onyeka Onwenu, born on January 31, 1952 in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, is a legendary figure in the Nigerian music and entertainment industry. Known by her nickname “Elegant Stallion”, she has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many with her soulful voice and captivating performances.
The youngest daughter of Nigerian educator and politician DK Onwenu, Onyeka’s early life was marked by tragedy when her father died in a car accident when she was four years old. Despite the loss, she persevered and made a name for herself in the music and entertainment industry.
