Meet Wilber Milhouse, Dr. Down Under Star Fenwa Milhouse Husband

Wilber Milhouse and Fenwa Milhouse got married in May 2012 at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago. And more than a decade later, the two are still married (as of 2023).

According to Fenwa, her husband is the most important person in her life. However, that doesn’t mean the relationship has been easy for them. “My husband and I have definitely had more heated arguments lately, but we always try to go back to the basics – God and our love for each other,” she said.

Additionally, their relationship took a hit in 2020 thanks to COVID-19. “The coronavirus pandemic has added another layer of stress to relationships and marriages. Sometimes this added stress can be difficult to deal with constructively. Couples may get angry at each other or turn to unhealthy habits to cope,” she explains.

But the couple still keeps the flame burning, going on date nights and remaining as positive as ever. In addition, Fenwa said that remembering the first time they met has kept their relationship strong. “May our words be kind and our thoughts be forgiving. May we remain humble enough to ask for forgiveness and wise enough to give freely,” she wished on Valentine’s Day 2020.

For those who don’t know, Fenwa is the star of Dr Down Below. She is a board-certified, specialty-trained urologist and a specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. The Nigerian urologist grew up in Texas and studied urology at the University of Texas Medical School. After graduating, she joined the University of Chicago Medical Center as an attending physician and worked there for nearly 15 years until March 2023.

Wilber Milhouse has a daughter with his wife, Fenwa. She turns 10 in 2023 and is homeschooled.

All over the country, schools are reopening. Most teachers are adjusting to teaching their students remotely. Some teachers are still in the classroom teaching our kids with the risk of catching the coronavirus ⁣”

She also took the time to appreciate all the teachers around the world, whose jobs certainly weren’t easy even before the pandemic. “Zoom classes are not the same as in-person classes. But we know you’re doing the best you can to educate your students. Thank you,” she added.

Wilbe reportedly earns about $65,000 a year as a teacher.

But Wilber is not only a teacher, he is also a good husband. Yes, while Fenwa is busy at the hospital, he takes care of the housework. And so, Fenwa feels extremely lucky to have found him. “Luckily, he is very forgiving and understanding, and happens to cook and clean. I cannot marry a lazy, needy man. Because the fact is that after working hard and thinking all day, I become lazy,” she said.

Also, her “laziness” was the reason why their marriage was in trouble. They even went to counseling during Fenwa’s time. Luckily, they were able to spend quality time working on these issues.
