It seems like Chris Brown just can’t resist his former flame, Karrueche Tran.
The R&B singer caused a stir when he liked his ex-girlfriend’s Instagram post, leaving fans wondering if the pair could rekindle their romance.
Despite the love Brown has received from fans on tour, his heart may still belong to Tran. Eagle-eyed followers spotted the singer’s likes in a photo Tran posted on October 28, in which she rocked a white dress with a sleek pixie cut into a Diversity event.
“What a wonderful evening celebrating the POWER OF WOMEN,” Tran captioned her photo. Attached to the caption is the message that Brown was “thoughtful” with the post.
The interaction sent social media abuzz with speculation about the former couple’s relationship status. Fans can’t help but wonder if Karrueche will finally unblock her ex, considering their tumultuous past.
The couple dated from 2010 to 2015, during which time Brown faced legal troubles, including jail time for assaulting his other ex, Rihanna. He also welcomed a child with another woman around the same time.
In 2017, Tran took their rocky relationship to the next level by filing for a temporary restraining order against the singer, accusing him of physical abuse and intimidation as well as stalking , including a promise to “take her out” at that time.
Publicly released court records made headlines and it took three attempts to serve the order on Brown. Ultimately, a judge gave Tran a five-year restraining order, requiring Brown to stay 100 yards away from her, her mother and her brother. The order expired in 2022. Now it seems the Brown juts can’t stay away.
In April, Karrueche found herself caught in the middle of a diss track war between Brown and rapper Quavo. The ‘Claws’ star made it clear that she “wants no part” in the rappers’ feud, but it’s clear that Breezy is still thinking of her.
