50 Cent, who is famous for trolling, has brutally criticized Jay-Z and suggested he should no longer produce the NFL Super Bowl show amid shocking rape allegations against “99 Problems” rapper.
50, who is working on a Netflix documentary series about the sex trafficking and fraud crimes Diddy has been charged with, has implied that Jay-Z should no longer be a part of the scene.
50 Cent shared a photo on Instagram showing him sitting in his car before driving away.
“Okay, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we still going to have the Super Bowl? [halftime show] *nervous emoji* I just want to make friends!” the post read.
Previously, Jay-Z was accused by 50 Cent of trying to ban him from the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show, only to back out when Eminem threatened to pull out. The rapper told Cam’ron’s Talk to Flee in the first part of the video interview that Jay-Z did some “weird” things.
“Because he was telling Eminem that the NFL had a problem with me. And I thought, what’s the problem? Why do I have a problem when I become a partner on the real team, but they have a problem.” Problems with my performance? It makes no sense,” he said.
As for why Jay-Z didn’t want him to participate in the Super Bowl show, 50 said it was because of the “competitive” culture.
“Not even threatened, I think it’s just – our culture is competitive, man. But I think when it crosses the line of music to get in the way of everything in business. So then I don’t understand that. Like, right now, you’re not even competing for a spot. You don’t have any new songs that you want to get into the Top 10 or Top 5, and you still competing. That’s pointless What?” he said.
“A lot of things are competitive — we’ll call it beef, right? That term changed when Biggie and Tupac came along, because we started saying things that people would say caused beef crawling in the environment. Before that, they called it ‘fighting’ in our culture ‘Because it was like that until it turned into something on the streets’, 50 continued.
“So when you’re not competing for those things anymore, you start looking and moving on, so what’s the point? You can’t remember exactly what the point is,” the rapper concluded.
Jay-Z and his company Roc Nation first began working with the NFL in 2019, where they agreed to serve as the NFL’s live music entertainment strategists. The two then renewed their contact in 2024. However, details about the extension are still unclear.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z was hit with a lawsuit on December 8 alleging that he and Diddy raped a 13-year-old at a 2000 MTV VMA afterparty.
The rapper has since released a statement denying all allegations against him.
“My attorney received an extortion attempt, known as a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he was calculating was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to address it,” the statement began.
“No, sir, it has the opposite effect! It makes me want to expose your fraud VERY publicly. So, no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!! These allegations is so cruel in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!” it continues.
“My only heartache is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is at an age where her friends will inevitably meet the press and question the nature of these claims and explain the cruelty.” and human greed. I mourn another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure that at a young age. It’s unfair to have to try to understand the inexplicable levels of malice that destroy families and the human spirit,” Jay-Z. added.
“You made a terrible error of judgment in thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I’m not from your world. I’m a young man straight out of the Brooklyn projects. We don’t play these types of games. We have very strict rules and honor, you seem to take advantage of people for personal gain conspiracies, fake physics, just believing in stupid claims you brought up against me, if it weren’t for the seriousness surrounding harm to children, it would be laughable. , he concluded.
