Early Life & Education
Wole Ojo was born on the 6th day of June 1984 in Lagos state, Nigeria, to Yoruba parents. He is from Oyo state, Nigeria.
His parents loved watching movies, which sparked his interest and passion for acting. His mother supported his dream and took him to several auditions.
After completing his primary and secondary education in Lagos State, the western region of Nigeria, Wole Ojo received his first School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior Secondary School Certificate.
After completing primary and secondary school, Wole Ojo studied at the University of Lagos and received a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts.
Career
At the age of 9, Wole Ojo began his professional acting career at a very young age. At the age of 11, he made his debut on stage at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs to commemorate the children’s day celebration sponsored by UNICEF.
He has also collaborated with famous actors and actresses in several projects in the Nigerian film industry, such as Tunde Kelani, Wale Adenuga, Michael Udoh, Sadiq Dada, Charles Novia, Joke Silva, Femi Oke, Lekan Balogun and Kingsley Omoefe.
He also produced and directed a number of stage plays, including Wale Ogunyemi’s Langbodo, Bode Osanyin’s The Beer Salon Philosophy, Moliere’s A Doctor in Spite of Yourself and excerpts of Macbeth.
Wole Ojo came to notice in Nigeria in 2009 after winning the 2009 edition of Amstel Malta’s unscripted drama Box Office in 2009. He was cast in the children’s show “Kidivision 101” and the successful family drama “One Big Family”. aired on NTA.
At the 2010 Peak Awards in 2010, he won the Best Student Actor award and he is currently acting in M-hit Net’s Tinsel series. He is currently the Amstel Malta brand ambassador.

At the 2013 Nollywood Film Awards, Wole Ojo was nominated for Best Actor (Indigenous). At the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama. At the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, he was also nominated for Nollywood Actor of the Year.
