Zandisile Nhlapo (born 24 December 1975) commonly known as Zandi Nhlapo is a South African entertainer, model, television personality and actor.
She started her career at the age of 17 and has achieved much success.
She is considered a veteran in the entertainment industry having spent over 20 years in the industry. As a model, she has won many beauty pageants and appeared on the covers of several magazines.
She is widely known for her role as the host of the South African show Continuity.

Early life
Zandi Nhlapo was born on December 24, 1975 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
She had a difficult childhood and had to walk long distances to attend dance training as a member of the dance group The Whizz Kids.
She witnessed the Apartheid regime in South Africa and today she is an inspiration to many young South Africans as she rose to the top of the field even in such difficult times.
She was one of the first black South Africans to host a television show.
Career
Zandi Nhlapo started out as a dancer in the dance group The Whizz Kids. She performed with the troupe and had to walk miles from home to practice as a child.
Her television career began at the age of 17 in 1993. She participated in the game show TRIO on CCTV. She then went on to host several South African shows such as Man 2 Man, Midday Breeze, Eastern Mosaic, Continuity and Cooking Gospel on E-TV.
She is a famous South African model, one of the first and best in the modeling industry, she has appeared on the front page of some of South Africa’s top magazines such as Y Mag and True Love. She has also participated in several beauty pageants and won most of them including Miss 707, Miss Sundowns, Miss Orlando Pirates, etc.
She started her children’s-themed hair salon by drawing inspiration from her grandchildren. She said most of the discussions that take place in adult hair salons are not good for children, which is one of the main reasons she opened a children’s hair salon.
The shop is called Mini You Mini Me. She opened it in 2017 and has an area where children can play while they wait their turn.
An entrepreneur and businesswoman, she started her own media and marketing company, Liquid Image Consulting. The company started as an event management company before becoming a full-fledged marketing agency.

Personal life
Zandi Nhlapo was married to Ralph Zikala for eight years before divorcing for personal reasons.
After the divorce, she got engaged to Bob Mabena, the father of her second child. Unfortunately, Bob Mabena suddenly died of a heart attack, leaving her heartbroken and devastated.
She dated Khethang Malefane for a short time. She has three children named Ntando Zikalala, Nyeleti Khomotso and Masana Mabena.
Her eldest daughter, Ntando Zikalala, is part of her branding company and has children of her own. Zandi Nhlapo is a grandmother.
