early life
Zinzile ‘Zinzi’ Zungu was born on 14 January 1983 in Durban.
Her television career began in Durban when she was just 16 years old.
She started out as a regional host for the ETV children’s show Craze.
She has also produced corporate videos and voice-overs for Craze and a number of other radio stations in Durban.
Soon after, Zinzile ‘Zinzi’ Zungu left Durban for Johannesburg to study live acting at the South African Film School.
While she continues to look for new work, she has also appeared in a number of theatre productions, including Pata Pata at the Johannesburg Civic Centre and Shebeen, directed by Deon Opperman.
