50 Cent Countersues Woman He Hit With Microphone for Harassment: Report

In Touch Weekly, sources revealed that 50 Cent is suing Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain for harassment. Monegain is the woman who subpoenaed the rapper for failing to appear at her previous court hearing.

It’s worth noting that Monegain was the one who threw 50 Cent’s microphone into the crowd at one of his concerts.

In documents obtained by the news agency, 50 Cent’s legal team filed a countersuit against Monegain.

“[Bryhana] has unreasonably rushed to require that all depositions and discovery be fully completed within the first three months of the effective filing of the complaint,” 50 Cent’s attorneys said in the filing.[50] was only served with an effective complaint approximately two months ago (April 16, 2024), has an extremely busy schedule with contractual, event, and project commitments, resides in Texas, and has made reasonable and good faith efforts to provide an in-person deposition date in Los Angeles.”

The Grammy-winning rapper’s lawyers also argued that their client had been given a September 2024 date to appear in court.

“Therefore, Plaintiff’s initiation of a direct deposition date for Defendant Jackson one day after the superseding order was issued is nothing more than a harassment measure and an attempt to gain a tactical advantage; it has no bearing on the legitimate needs of this case other than Plaintiff’s desire for a speedy resolution,” the attorney asserted.

In the same filing, 50 Cent’s attorneys claimed that Monegain refused to travel to California with the defendant’s paid fare to undergo a psychiatric examination even though she was only in California to give testimony.

“[Bryhana’s] extremely early efforts to get [50 Cent’s] The false statements constitute an abusive litigation tactic designed to put pressure on Defendant G-Unit Touring and [50 Cent]”, the filing said, adding that the rapper has requested that Monegain’s motion be dismissed in its entirety.

In June 2024, In Touch Weekly obtained legal documents that said 50 Cent had yet to set a date for his deposition despite repeated requests. Monegain gave the rapper a tentative date of June 13, 2024, but the deposition never took place.

“Since the August 5, 2024 conciliation date is still pending, an Order is in effect [50] “Sitting for testimony and depositions must be done promptly,” the document said.

Although 50 Cent did not intend to hurt anyone with the microphone, he accidentally hit the host, causing serious injuries to her forehead and just above her right eyebrow, and she was hospitalized. 50 Cent’s attorney has since maintained his client’s innocence.
