Allison Holker defends her tell-all interview after being accused of destroying tWitch’s legacy

Allison Holker is not staying silent and has hit back at accusations that she damaged her late husband, Stephen “tWitch’ Boss’s” estate, through comments regarding his addiction .

In screenshots obtained by The Shade Room, Holker responded to one person who wrote: “This whole thing makes me sad. He’s gone. Why tear up the name?”

This person added: “This salary is not worth dishonoring his name.”

Holker responded with nothing but love to those who criticized her comments.

“I will always love you. Just trying to help people feel safe to ask for help and support,” she replied.

The user later responded with a sympathetic comment and apologized for their words.

“It’s hard to digest. I can’t imagine how you feel so I apologize for jumping to conclusions,” their comment thread ended.

But fans on Instagram weren’t the only ones speaking out against Holker. Boss’s cousin, Darielle, criticized Holker for the interview and also allegedly made his family sign an NDA to attend his cousin’s funeral.

“Yeah, I don’t know anything about an NDA. This crazy woman made me and his real family even sign an NDA just to attend the funeral. She’s trying to tarnish his life.” his estate and refused to let the Boss family see the children. Just to take advantage and LIE about my cousin, no,” she wrote on X after Holker’s interview.

Well I don’t know anything about NDA.

This crazy woman made me and his actual family sign an NDA just to attend the funeral. She is trying to tarnish his legacy and refuses to let the Boss family see the children.

The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member, Candice Dillard Bassett, also criticized Holker after the interview was posted on her X account.

“I won’t even say it. But this white woman is doing everything BUT protecting her black children and her black husband’s legacy. She can keep this in writing. SMH’s therapist’s office,” she shares.

Holker opened up about her ex-husband’s battle with drug addiction in an interview with Everybody. She told the newspaper that she didn’t know about his fight until days after he died by suicide.

“I was with one of my really close friends and we were cleaning out his closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” she told the outlet.

“It was really a hysterical moment for me because there were so many things I discovered in my closet that I didn’t know existed. I was so alarmed to learn that there were so many things going on.” that I know nothing about.” [about]”, Holker added.

Regarding what she discovered, Holker shared that it was an “abundant” amount of drugs in a shoebox. But this discovery helped her understand her late husband better.

“He went through a lot and he hid a lot,” she said.

Holker revealed that Boss had been sexually abused as a child and she believed he was using drugs to “self-medicate” his internal struggle to not put his feelings on those around him .

She said she knew Boss would come to their guest house to drink and smoke marijuana, but didn’t know how serious the situation had become.

Boss committed suicide in 2022 and left behind his wife, Holker, and their three children – adopted daughter Weslie, son Maddox and daughter Zaia.
