Early life and education

Bola Tinubu was born on 29 March 1952 in Osun State into a prominent Tinubu family to his mother, Abibatu Mogaji, a trader, who later became Íyál’ọ́jà of Lagos.

He had his initial formal education at St. John, Aroloya, Lagos and Children’s Home School in Ibadan, Southwestern Nigeria.
