However, he goes by the professional stage name Buddy Valastro. He is the owner and head of Carlo’s Bakery which has 18 branches across the United States and Brazil.

Early life

Buddy Valastro’s entry into the baking profession was no accident. In fact, it was a predetermined fate. The reason is because he was born into a family of baker. His father, Bartolo Valastro Sr. is the founder of Carlo’s Bakery. His parents were first-generation Italian Americans born in their homeland, Italy, before immigrating to the United States.
