Céline Dion paid tribute to Quincy Jones on social media.
On November 6, Dion posted a statement to her official accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. “I am heartbroken to hear that my friend, the one and only musical genius, Quincy Jones, has passed away,” she shared.
“Quincy touched my world as both a beloved mentor and someone I admired for his profound impact on virtually every form of American music,” Dion added. .

The singer said she was honored to work with Jones and said it “was a dream come true” for her.
“His musical intuition was profound – he helped me capture ‘a little piece of heaven,'” Dion continued. “Quincy always knows exactly what each song needs.”
Dion then mentioned Jones’ charity work “benefiting the arts, global hunger and underprivileged youth.” She also stated that his influence has indeed extended to every corner of the world.
Dion concluded her tribute by quoting a quote from Jones, which emphasized the universal connection between people through music.
“May his wisdom and joy be with us always,” Dion commented.

Jones died on November 3 at the age of 91. The late conductor was known for his impact on jazz and pop music. He also worked alongside many icons like Michael Jackson, James Ingram, Luther Vandross, Lesley Gore, Frank Sinatra, etc.
