Puth attended Holy Cross School and Forrestdale Middle School in Rumson before graduating in 2010 from Rumson-Fairhaven Regional High School.
During his middle and high school years, he attended Manhattan School of Music Preparatory School, majoring in jazz piano and minoring in classical studies.
