Early life
Chigan Madu was born on May 4 in the family of Mr. George Maduemezia and Mrs. Gladys Maduemezia. He was born in the city of Lagos, where he also grew up with his siblings.
Eight days after his birth, the Maduemezias gave their son the baptismal name Charles Maduemezia.
He is an Ibo boy and hails from the southeastern region, Delta State. He grew up in the Christian faith, learning the teachings of the Bible whenever he went to church. As a boy, he joined the Drama unit at his local church and did the same at school, where he was an active member of the Drama society.

Although she acted well in school plays and church dramas, Chigan Madu was especially interested in working behind the scenes and took on the role of director. He also worked as a costumer and stage manager. Therefore, his parents were not surprised when he studied cinema later.

Career

After graduating from university, Chigan Madu secured a job with a media company, Cool FM Nigeria. Thanks to his dynamic and creative abilities, he rose through the ranks to become Head of Content at the Naija Playlist section of the radio station in 2014. While holding down a 9-5 job, he also freelances as a videographer and videographer, offering his services to clients in Lagos.
By 2017, Chigan Madu had moved up the industry ladder to become Production Manager at Pranks Nigeria. That same year, he founded his own media agency, CM Music Worldwide. The entertainment company serves as a production company and record label. The company is noted for producing Prank Movie, which was a hit in Nigeria, received good ratings on Box Office and was ranked by Google’s Knowledge Panel.
As a music executive, he is working with several underground artists in refining their sound and creating the foundation for them to become A-list artists in the industry. Additionally, through CM Music Worldwide, Chigan Madu is contributing to the continued growth of the Afrobeats genre.
