Early life and education
Chrissy Teigen was born on November 30, 1985, in Delta, Utah. Her father, Ron, is of Norwegian and German American descent, and her mother, Vilailuck, is from Thailand.
She has an older sister named Tina. When she was young, her family moved to Snohomish, Washington, where her parents ran a tavern.
She attended Snohomish High School and then Huntington Beach High School in California. She did not attend college.
